Mondomundi is the trading name of The Mundi Group Ltd, a “new generation” fair trade company which operates on a commercial basis. The business exists to make a profit, but, much more importantly, it exists to make a difference. The shareholders and directors share a common belief that it is unsustainable for the “developed world” to continue to abuse its position and financial muscle at the expense of small farmers and producers all over the world in the quest for maximum profit.
Our methodology is to regard our staff, customers and suppliers as partners and to negotiate terms with each on a realistic and sustainable basis that is good for everyone.

As a fair trade company, it goes without saying that we do not offer a product if we believe exploitation has played any part in the production chain. However, we also believe that, for the fair trade concept to be a success, goods which are ethically sound, from a social and ecological perspective, have to be as good, if not better, than anything produced without such considerations. It is for that reason we only sell the finest products.
